Elie was named Lone Star’s vice president of operations in April, 2007.  In addition to senior management and PR responsibilities, he heads Lone Star’s government relations practice.

Immediately prior to his appointment Elie provided public relations services to a variety of organizations including Nefesh B’Nefesh, the Israel Venture Association and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
Additionally, Elie served as the editor and head writer for the Gesher Foundation’s website and as a research assistant for the publication of Let Us Prove Strong, a history of the American Jewish Committee.

Born in New York City, Elie has lived in Jerusalem since 1991. He earned a BA with honors in Political Science, specializing in International Relations, and a minor in Middle Eastern History from Columbia University.
