10 National PR Awards in 3 Years—"UNPRECEDENTED"

BEST INTERNATIONAL P.R. CAMPAIGN OF THE YEAR AWARDED
TO LONE STAR FOR GLOBAL BRANDING OF SHYNE

(TEL AVIV)-Israel's best international media campaign in 2010 was Lone Star Communications global branding for the star rapper SHYNE (Moshe Levi).

The award was presented Tuesday night at the annual gala of the Israel Spokespersons and Public Relations Association (ISPRA) in a ceremony packed with the who's who of Israel's media industry.

Positive coverage of Shyne appeared worldwide, including a large feature beginning on the front page of The New York Times,
CNN TV, BBC, Rolling Stone Magazine, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Associated Press, Reuters and Agence Francais Presse.Articles appeared as far away as China and India.

"This was a fascinating opportunity for my outstanding team," said Charley J. Levine, CEO, Lone Star, "Shyne had been recently released from prison in America, reconnected with his father who is the current Prime Minister of Belize and came to Jerusalem to deepen his Jewish connections—a compelling human drama filled with art and spirituality which the sizable international press corps in Israel found —the hip hop religious comeback kid."

Lone Star, which recently marked five years of operations, has earned 10 ISPRA awards of excellence in three years, including "Best Overall PR Campaign in Israel" at last year's ceremonies. No other Israel PR agency has won this number or range of awards.
